Drury Inn & Suites Orlando near Universal Orlando Resort

Everything was awesome but I need a little more variety for breakfast such as grits, bacon, grapes, fruits, some sliced oranges. Dinner I had the same dinner on Thursday and Saturday when I went to Drury in Alabama for fives days my meals did repeat until the sixth day. Frosted Flakes for cereal would have been good. More variety on free complementary drink (frozen daiquiri would have been nice).

Very clean, decent price, 3 free adult drinks per night, great free breakfast, and and a free dinner (depending on your standards of dinner)

Great location, next to I-4, Universal Studios and International Dr, but quiet, comfortable, daily cleaning, good breakfast (for US). 7-11, tank station, and Whole Foods within 5 minutes walk.

The open buffet breakfast was varied and sufficient. In the evening between 17:30 - 19:00, there was a snack time consisting of various open buffet food and it was quite filling, so it was like dinner for us. The hotel was in a very central location and was very close to outlets and attractions such as Disney World, Universal Studios and Sea World. Parking was free. There was a plaza right next to the hotel with various shops such as Ross, Wendy's and farmer markets. The staff was very helpful and kind. Our room was big enough for our family of 4. In addition, our room was cleaned every day without exception, and our towels were changed every day. Since we stayed for a long time like 10 days, we also used the hotel's laundry and were pleased with it, too. This hotel was also a business partner of Universal Studios; therefore, it was possible to buy tickets for Universal Studios parks at a reasonable price. In short, we were very pleased. If I go to Orlando again, I will not look at any other hotel, I will choose Drury Inn without a second thought.

Although we did not partake or enjoy the breakfast and dinner, I love their idea and logic on offering a free service to people who needed it or benefited from it. 3 free drinks per adult guest staying at the hotel. I also appreciate the FREE parking. My room was a top floor that I paid extra for and was premium, but I didn't really see the "premium", besides the bathroom flooring and counters were made of real granite which we liked. It was fairly quiet, with a few loud guests coming in and out their rooms and walking the hall, but was able to sleep soundly, so that was good. I liked the towel quality and thickness. We both LOVED the beds, but not the pillows-too soft. Our view was lovely - overlooking the wheel, the star flyer, and sling shot and seeing a little bit of volcano bay. We liked being right next to our 2 favorite places when we visit: Ross and Perkin's. This location is easy to get in and out of on the Turkey Lake side, especially. There are some grocery stores close by, a Walmart that is easily accessible by car, dining options, a nice car wash across the street, and an adjacent Wendy's. This hotel is partnered with Universal, so their is a universal shuttle bus (a big transit bus) to the park, and there is a lady in the lobby at her own Universal Studios ticket kiosk. Staff allowed for an early check-in, and both gentlemen were kind and hospitable. They have 3 elevators, and one became inoperable, but the other 2 moved pretty fast, so there was no big deal on one being out of order. Outdoor semi indoor or shaded pool area and jacuzzi are a nice touch. Overall, this is definitely a family-friendly hotel, and I would recommend it as they have more pros than cons and are a great value when visiting the Icon/International drive area
